I met Junwei at Subway at 5 and waited for the rest. LOL Kenny couldn't even find Subway! And he thought that 'Subway' was 'MRT Station' LMAO! :D And when he came to the basement he practically stalked the other direction and he was completely oblivious to me calling him 'cuz he was listening to his new (ugh) iTouch -.-

Went to Mos Burger to eat in the end since we didn't feel much like eating Subway; I just ordered fries [I know Kenny tweeted about this, I think x)]. Oh well, I shan't elaborate and embarrass myself here :P Bought flowers from The Marketplace instead of that stupid ultra-expensive flower shop in Raffles City's basement -.-

Concert was great, loved VJC's rendition of 'Kruhay', which is roughly translated as 'Welcome'. It was totally awesome laaaa! :D OMG OMG. The choreography combined with the singing was awesome and the soloists (Jeslyn and Clement) were imbaaaaaaaa :D WOW, is all I can say (: I would say last night's concert was definitely worth my time and money :D

My aunts, uncles and grandma came over today for New Year's lunch (LOL -.-) Emmanuel came too yay! :D He was enchanted with the star light we bought from Ikea Haha! :D And lately he's taken to calling everything he sees 'CAR!' :D Cute right! :D

Learnt how to make balloon dogs from Uncle Colin today! I feel so accomplished :D I was on my way to making my first sword when it burst in front of me ): But I did manage to make one in the end! I suppose you've gotta get used to the prospect of the balloon bursting anytime, after some time you're not so cautious about twisting the balloons into shape :D

Anyway. My dad took leave and we went for a swim in the morning, came back and changed and went to Raffles City. Out of the Pan serves up awesome crepes man, you've really got to go and try them! :D :D :D And the best thing about the place? It doesn't make your hair stink and reek of the food :D Haha! That's the first thing I would look for in any eating place. The cooking area's super clean too! :D Service is awesome, waiters are polite. Note: I didn't notice any female waiters there.. I ordered Seafood Jungle in a sun-dried tomato flavoured crepe and boy, was it good! :D There was crab, scallops and prawn inside and they weren't just some pathetic tiny pieces of seafood where you sometimes don't even know if they're what they're claimed to be.. Okay I'm not making much sense, it's all so garbled :P Bottom line is, the seafood was substantial and they were visibly prawns, scallops and crab :D Haha! Okay.

Then we went to catch Sherlock Holmes. It was absolutely awesome man! Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law were perfect together and gosh, the comments and dialogues were all so witty! :D If I could even come up with half of them I think I'd be um, a little more successful in my school work? LOL poor comparison -.- Anyway. I began to feel lousy after that ): Throat hurt and I didn't have much appetite. Everything my body came in contact with, it hurt. Turns out I'm sick! Ugh. But at least I could sing well enough to pass yesterday's auditions.. Although I had some phlegm stuck in my throat towards the end and I went flat -.-

Ahh. Suddenly I felt like blogging, thus the relatively long post you see here. Gonna lunch now! See you people! :D Can't wait for later :D

Why did you even have to do that in the first place? Don't you know that when you're having an argument with someone, you do NOT point out the person's mistakes while apologizing to the person? Anyway. Auditions today were fine, I did get through. But I wish I could have gotten the solo part.. Oh well. The solo part's so nice OMG the chord changes are so nice and haha, I can't find the words to describe la :] So sad ): ):

One more thing. I simply abhor people who keep skipping practices and claim that they've overslept and all that jazz. So you were going to come for this practice huh, Lydia? Well. WHERE WERE YOU? You can't keep giving the same excuses over and over again, people will soon see through it. As it is we could already tell that your attitude towards choir isn't really there. Yes, you did go for the Genting trip, but that doesn't give you much credit. You aren't giving yourself credit at all! Even if you overslept, you should at least make an effort to turn up for practice right? I mean, that's the least you can do. But no, you didn't. You didn't even turn your phone on. If you know that you're prone to oversleeping, then make some effort, take some measure to ensure that you wake up. Don't tell me that you're gonna skip school everyday just because you oversleep? Come on, that doesn't make sense, not one bit.

Anyway. Oh, my my. Someone has just committed social suicide for a second time! Gosh, how is that possible? I totally agree with Clarissa's post man. You apologize to people, yet at the same time you manage to still point out the person's wrongs. Don't you know that that will just serve to piss the person off further? Don't you ever learn from your mistakes?

Yesterday's Christmas Eve Service was so BOOMZ :D Hahahahhaha :D Sat with Dunstan and it was hilarious (: Dr Soh Guan Chin was the speaker and OMG he sounded like he was gonna yawn anytime!!! Hahahahaha GOSH I could hardly concentrate properly! But at least I got the gist of his message: Christmas can be celebrated anytime in a person's life 'cuz Christmas is about the birth of Jesus in another person's life. Awesome right! :D Camwhoring sessions commenced after that hehe :P By the time we got back it was like 1 30 in the morning, I think. Slept at 3 :D

Today was such a hectic day :/ I woke up at 11 (Oops) and went to Godpa Adrian's house for lunch (the first half of it) and then went to Uncle Colin's parents' house for the remaining part of my lunch Haha! So greedy eh. Ham rocks :D

Hmm. Don't really know what to blog about anymore.. I hope I receive more gifts! Hahahah! :D Oh. I WANT MY PHONE BACK OMG OMG. I'd just got my new phone (W902) for like about a week or so and guess what?! THE SPEAKERS SPOILT -.- Gosh. And the thing is I'd hardly used the speakers except for when Dot bluetoothed songs to me!!!! Ugh. How annoying. The spare parts are gonna take 3 weeks to get in so I'm stuck with my stupid old Nokia phone which has a pathetic inbox space. Tsk.

Msn is pissing me off. Everytime I log in my nick changes back to my name and my personal message disappears -.- Sick and tired of changing it so I've stopped. Sigh, what a pain.

It's Christmas Eve today! LOL. But it's so rainy and depressing ): But at least the rain's let up a little, hopefully it won't be raining heavily later, otherwise it'll be real hard to get to church without ruining my getup ):

Anyway. This portion here is 'dedicated' to all Sec1s:

I know that sometimes you guys are kinda put off by things we say and all, but you've gotta try and look at things from our perspective. For example Weiying. She has high expectations of everyone. Wanna know why? 'Cuz in the past, we had many more practices than we're having now, and of course she has prior experience because her brother's in other choirs and she knows much more than anyone else! So you can't really blame her can you? Okay, granted you guys did not know that fact. But now that you do, please try and 'sympathize' with us, for lack of any other word to use.

And now, on to your attitude. Okay actually, this is mainly for the Sec1 Sopranos. Firstly, if you don't want us to scold you, show us that y'all can do without scoldings or any other disciplinary action, for that matter. If you don't show us, you can't blame us for doing so right? With regards to learning your parts, we've already told you countless times, IT'S OKAY TO MAKE MISTAKES. Just don't repeat them again after we've told you because that shows that you weren't paying attention during sectionals or that you just can't be bothered. When we ask you if you know your parts, we expect answers. I mean, come on, we aren't talking to walls are we? So we're expecting some sort of response, okay? TYVM. If you don't know your parts, just say so! We'll try to help you as best as we can; there's no harm in asking questions right? And at the same time, when we ask you if anyone doesn't know their parts, and we're greeted with silence, we're gonna be assuming that y'all know your parts, y'know? So you can't blame us if we get frustrated when it turns out that y'all actually don't know your parts very well.

And when Weiying talks, I know that sometimes the things she says really does put people off, but what she says makes sense. So no matter how put off you are, you've gotta try and put that aside and listen to what she has to say, because that might help you to improve! That's only if you're willing to learn and improve yourself. If you're gonna let your feelings/emotions affect your learning like that, then you've really got to sit down and think, if this is what you really want. I know that there are some of you who do want to sing out, who do want to learn, but something's stopping you right? And I think I know what it is. You don't dare to sing out for fear that you'll be ostracized, am I right? But let me tell you something, IT'S PERFECTLY ALRIGHT. Really, it is.

Okay? So this is all I have to say, for now. Please try and show us some improvement of some sort. And for your auditions, please look through your scores and make sure that you carry out all dynamic markings etc. Auditions are not just some event where you sing and expect to get in, NO. Mr Kwei's auditions have a very high standard and if you're not good enough he's just gonna cross you off his list, he's not gonna try to squeeze a place for you. After all, he only needs 65 people for the Italy trip. So it's no good being so happy-go-lucky and thinking that it's gonna be easy. Lemme tell you something. People like me, Weiying, Siuyen and the other SLs are all scared for the upcoming audition. We've passed the SYF audition and last year's Russia trip audition, and WE ARE STILL SCARED. So, now you know what to expect eh?
